The PNE which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year was identified as a high-priority opportunity for public outreach for Transport 2050. The transportation-themed expo featured a world-class animated model of Metro Vancouver 2050, plus a virtual reality experience that immersed the users in a leisurely transit ride in the future.
The zone also accomplished corporate objectives beyond T2050 including the promotion of the Rapid Bus lines, TransLink’s new double-decker bus, TRAMS Museum Bus, TransLink Store, HR booth, plus e-scooter / e-bike demos, electric cars, and more.
