Party for the Planet celebrates Earth Day, and is the City of Surrey’s premier environmental event. Entering its 14th year in 2025, the event will be hosted on Saturday, April 26 from 11am to 7pm at Surrey Civic Plaza.

Car-free Day turns the busy 137th Street into pedestrian heaven featuring stages, vendors, and family-friendly activities. The occasion highlights active transportation, supports local businesses, and ensures a car-free environment.

Lakeshore Music & Arts Festival is a free, two-day outdoor celebration taking place June 20–21, 2026, at Burlington’s iconic Spencer Smith Park. Set along the city’s stunning waterfront, the festival will come alive as a vibrant, multi-stage experience featuring nationally celebrated Canadian artists, emerging performers, local artisans, an extensive selection of food trucks, and engaging family-friendly programming. Lakeshore is poised to become one of Ontario’s premier outdoor music and cultural events for years to come.

Surrey Canada Day is Western Canada’s premier Canada Day event. Every year, the City invites residents and visitors to experience a day full of free, family-friendly entertainment, amusement rides, exhibitor booths, an Indigenous Village, food trucks and a fireworks finale.

The West 4th Avenue Khatsahlano Street Party is Vancouver’s largest free music and arts Festival! Created with love in 2011 by the members of the Kitsilano West 4th Avenue Business Association, Khatsahlano, features multiple stages showcasing more than 50 of Vancouver’s top musical performers as well as the eclectic work of local artisans and street performers.

Surrey Fusion Festival is the ultimate celebration of food, music, and culture. Festival organizers are proud to work with communities representing different ethnicities and cultures from around the world and honour the traditions and history that they share with attendees.

Set amongst the stately trees and gardens of the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in Comox, BC, the Filberg Festival is truly a unique event. Taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, the festival will feature live performances across four outdoor stages, an all-local vendor market, dozens of food trucks and restaurant pop-ups, and interactive zones for all ages. Main Street will come alive from 16th Avenue to King Edward Avenue with music, activities, and community programming throughout the day.
